3rd Battalion 8th Marine Regiment Veterans Day

3rd Battalion 8th Marine Regiment will be hosting a 3/8 Veterans Celebration Day on May 17th, 2018 on Camp Lejeune, NC. This event is
meant to celebrate all past and present Marines who served in 3rd Battalion 8th Marines. 3/8 OIF & OEF Veterans have been invited to
join in the celebration, which will include a Colors Dedication Ceremony and a battalion wide cook out.
All members of 3/8 and their families are invited.

- 13:30 - Parking at 3/8 HQ lot in Wallace Creek
- 14:00 - Informal 3/8 HQ walk-through, for those interested
- 16:00 -Battalion Formation at Marston Pavilion
- Colors Rededication
- Roll Call for OIF/OEF Marines
- Company "Storyboards" about each company's history
- Static Display by V38 Marines
- BBQ with Hot Dogs and Hamburgers behind the Marston Pavilion
- Drinks at the Follow Me bar at the Officers Club, for those who are interested

If you wish to attend and you are not on active duty or have a retired ID, you will need to provide some information so you may be placed on the approved entry roster at the front gate. Please contact us below if you are interested in joining, before April 20th, as this information needs to be sent in to Camp Lejeune. If you are retired and are planning on attending please let us know so we can get an accurate head count.
Even if you're not sure you want to attend, still contact us and send in your information before April 20th. That way you can still back-out if you decide not to come.
