PTSD is one of the main issues that has plagued the veteran community. PTSD is something that all combat veterans deal with daily, and it can sometimes lead a veteran on to a path of despair and helplessness. This can result in substance abuse or even suicide, and since 2008, 3/8 has lost many of its brave Marines to both. Many veterans felt alone and distanced from their civilian friends and families as they dealt with these issues. Our founder, Bart Skiba, experienced similar problems and recognized that the support from his 3/8 brothers-in-arms helped him deal with many post-combat issues.
In 2021 our board member, Chris Wright, began the 3/8 India Company Annual Reunion for those Marines who served in 3/8 India Company between 2015 to 2021. These reunions aim to help these Marines to combat PTSD, and other injuries, through closure, support, and a healing environment, which allows us to recognize those who required help, whether it was emotional, physical, or financial.
Please help our goal and contribute to helping reunite these veterans. For information about this year's reunion, please contact us below.
All donations will go to support the 3/8 India Company Reunion.
